Erindale schools started with the name “Roseville schools” in September 2010, as a pre-school, consisting of Crèche and Nursery Pupils. At Erindale Schools, we aim to attain local and international recognition as an institution committed to nurturing well-rounded, disciplined, and intellectually-alert pupils who contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic and moral development of their society, guided by strong values and the fear of God.

Erindale Schools began in September 2010 as Roseville Schools, operating as a pre-school with Crèche and Nursery classes and an initial enrolment of eleven pupils. Located at 2–4 Lekan Ogunsola Street, off Safuratu Benson Street, the school is distinguished by its blue building with a red roof.
As plans to expand into the primary education sector progressed, the school was required to comply with the protocols of the State Ministry of Education. During this process, it was discovered that another institution had already been registered under the name Roseville School. To meet regulatory requirements, the school adopted a new name, Erindale School.
The primary section operates from a purpose-built two-storey structure within the same premises, designed in line with state regulations. It officially commenced operations on 15 September 2014 with seven pupils (five in Year One and two in Year Two) and a staff strength of five.
A Board of Directors, with Mrs. Folashade Balogun serving as the Executive Director, governs Erindale Schools.
The Executive Director, at its inception, composed the school’s first anthem. To better reflect the school’s mission and vision, a member of staff, Mr. Oluyemi Oke, later composed the present school song on 16 February 2018.

Core values
Curriculum Philosophy: Building Stars, Raising a Total Child
At Erindale Schools, the curriculum is not merely a pathway to academic promotion. It is an
intentional formation tool designed to develop the whole child—intellectually, socially,
emotionally, and practically. The school’s guiding philosophy, “Building Stars and Raising a
Total Child,” informs every aspect of our curriculum design and classroom practice.
Erindale Schools does not describe itself as a British curriculum school. Instead, it operates
a blended curriculum uniquely tailored to the early childhood and primary years. This blend
draws from:
The Nigerian National Early Childhood Education Curriculum and NERDC Basic
Education Curriculum – as the approved national framework.
Adapted Montessori Methods – as the core pedagogical approach, particularly in the
early years.
Internationally Benchmarked Learning Outcomes – used not as a formal syllabus, but
as a tool to raise the standard of what is expected at each developmental stage.
The result is a curriculum that is both locally relevant and globally competitive, delivered
through methods that respect the developmental needs of young children.
